Hello,
Welcome to COPY! We hope you enjoy the little world we’ve made. We realized that the arts community we wanted to be a part of didn’t exist! So we made one :) Social media can be an exhausting space for artists, forcing one to combine their work, portfolio, and personality into a prepackaged product.
We wanted to create an archive that allows artists to document their work beyond social media. COPY strives to place value on the creation of work rather than reception, lifting up artists for what they have made rather than what or who has been deemed commercially viable. Right now, COPY is an online space containing articles and collections of archived work. We hope to grow beyond the virtual world and into a real life community by creating events, performances, and a network of emerging artists.
